Maki Nishikino cosplay by Kuricurry -- One of if not, my favorite shot
The costume was fun to make, as her top was a combination of a fitted black tube with a garterized back, duchess satin in front and cotton for the rest. With an pinstripe white cloth for the body and once again duchess satin for the collar and front details of the tiny skirt.
Total spendings: $9.00 or around 400 php
High quality costumes can come cheap IF you can learn how to make them your own. My sewing ability did not happen overnight. It became 'cleaner' as time progressed as I did not really do this often. I'm a self-taught seamstress with a background in photography and lighting as well as processing so in all I don't require a lot of help for the hobby. You aren't required to know EVERYTHING. Just enough so you can sustain yourself and have 'good enough' outputs that will last you until you get tired of this seemingly childish hobby.
NEVER STOP LEARNING (EVER)
I always tell myself that if I have the time to complain about certain things/aspects in my life, then why not just spend that time learning about things or gaining a new skill? But sometimes, the underwhelming appreciation gets the better of me. It's like giving your heart out to a crowd that just stares at you.
On Being admired in silence I've been told and as the blog stats don't lie, this blog gets viewed daily by a minimum of 100 people and a maximum of 300 people. These are unique hits and those stats don't lie. But I hardly get any comments on here
Do you mind No not really, I started this for the sake of getting my thoughts down. I simply write for those who would like to read and if you'd like to keep the conversation one-sided with me talking all the time then who am I to mind? That's like a dream-to-reality situation for most writers.

Nishikino Moe about to cry, not sure why :|
Appreciation vs Fame Outright, if you've been following my blog or have read certain posts you are aware that I don't really care much for online fame. That's a dangerous thing to have more so if you're a commoner like me.
Being appreciated by people you care for is a different matter. Random people telling me I'm great, beautiful, pretty and whatnot is not as heavy as the words of someone I truly admire and respect. There's the gist of that, imagine if your crush were to tell you, you're pretty versus a random person in the street telling you the same thing.
Back to Maki Nishikino Maki is my favorite Love Live! character and I will probably do more of her outfits within the year (Possibly 2 or just one more) Her outfits are usually symmetrical, with fine details and gold trimmings (Which I seriously love) so yep, she's still part of the pending cosplans.
ABOUT LEARNING FOREVER It's not just cosplay, it's drawing, doing math, music, or whatever drives you! It's about never being contented with where you're at and never being too big headed to learn from other people. We are never going to be the ultimate best in what we do, there are various definitions of what makes someone great and that's around 7 billion people with 7 billion different standards.
