Sorry no pictures for this post.
So there's this weather, and there's the most depressing thing that happened in my life. But you'd never know what that is and I'm never telling. In any case, am at a stage most people go through during high school or so.
"What the hell am I doing with my life" kind of thing...
Knowing what to do with your life
Am half-ass at almost everything I do, I've already given up on painting/sketching. I already told myself they will remain a hobby. But these other things... like cosplay, gaming, web coding, looking for a career that will support me happily- is all becoming quite confusing.
I am awkward at the best definition of the term. Am bad with dealing with people but I get lonely quiet fast. I get depressed just as easily as I get overjoyed.
These aren't the only things I like doing. Which is rather bad for me because I don't have the proper resources to pull it all off. I don't have the time either to make myself good at all of these without using up some for leisure. Should I just give another one up? What's next? I've already given up on playing instruments, and drawing. What else has to go? I hate the fact that I have to work so damned hard only to be so average. It sucks. A LOT.
I know, parts of my country is going downhill and I'm sulking like an idiot. apologies. The weather has gotten into me.
Hair Shade/Eye Shade: The manga features a darker more brown shade that gradients into a darker shade and her eyes are of the same hue. While the anime sticks to a lighter almost blonde feel together with her yellow-brown eyes. (Which is, honestly very hard to find in a wig and contact lenses)
Facial Features: Still win for the manga here.
She's still quite cute in the anime.
But, her loveliness is entirely different in the manga.
Her features are softer and much more elegant to look at
while for the manga she doesn't have that 'ojou-sama' (lady)
appeal to her.
Still a Manga fan.Few to no difference really. Except for the colors
and some bit of lace lost on the anime.
I really liked how the red seemed to be a dark red tinge.
Unlike the anime costume that looks so bright and happy
But white and red can never go wrong.
So not bad for either.
There has only been 3 episodes out so far, so perhaps there will be more differences in the future.
Though I hope not.
Real name: Asuna Yuuki
I really love how SAO sticks to the original Manga concept in the animation. Although, the difference in shade strikes me as a huge turn off for the anime art.
Fine, so most series do have that sparkly, shiny look to it. But they could've left the red hues and gradients alone. And for some reason... Asuna looks WAY prettier in the manga.
Am sure am not the only one who noticed.
C9 or "Continent of the 9th Seal" is Webzen's newest MORPG. (Not quite sure about it being "MMORPG" as it's still in it's beta stages as of June 30 2012.
Just a note--
I don't have anything to compare this game to because the only other Webzen game I've played is SUN Online. I was a magic type character (As I usually am in most games I play). And heck was I powerful AoE and killing a whole mass in one click (But getting killed just as fast if my enemy gets to me).
The game boasted of large maps and serious immersion game play and story lines. The updates were fast (although they were large chunks of files) The only thing to stop me from ever logging on again was an immensely huge patch update and my Thesis.
Continent of the 9th Seal
I've only seen glimpses of the trailer for the "Shadow" class, and heck I was impressed. Air juggles and combo never looked so good, and in an Online RPG at that.
The clothing style I've seen so far reminds me of Granado Espada, although a very toned type. I have yet to see more of this game. The freedom of fighting via juggles is seriously tempting me to get at it and try the game myself.
For now, it's seriously on my "Must-try-before-I-die" game list.
Click here if you wish to go to C9's official site.
Sword Art Online or ソードアート・オンライン
is a Japanese light novel series by Reki Kawahara, with illustrations by Abec.
I haven't heard of "Abec" but the style doesn't stun as much as Guilty Crown does. I don't know much about this. But I've been pretty much spoiled by Aizen-Sama.
Am hoping for a lot actually. Animation, battle themes and effects that are well integrated. Seeing that this was a light novel before, it would be assumed (though assuming is a bad habit) that it's rather well written and that the plot would actually carry it.
Loving the theme, and seriously craving to cosplay both protagonists.
Trinity Blood in a nutshell:
Trinity Blood, a series of Japanese light novels written by Sunao Yoshida coupled with illustrations by aThores Shibamoto. The story is dark, and not quite cliched. There is no 'right or wrong' just people trying to do what they believe in. The main Protagonist is "Abel Nightroad" who is a breed above "vampires" or "Methuselah" as the series refers to them. Abel is part of a covert operation group under the Vatican (Called "AX") who are tasked in keeping vampires in line. The supposed main "Antagonist" is "Cain Nightroad", Abel's brother. Which is in turn the same as he is. A "Krusnik /Crusnik". The brothers are seen as rivals with ideals that clash onto each other, and thus the series goes.
Esther Blanchett has been my cosplay dream ever since I was in Highschool. And yes, that's quite the long span of time. We don't quite look alike, but heck... I love the series to bits and the manga was seriously stunning. I loved the stories, and I love ALL the characters. (You should really consider reading the manga if you haven't yet!)
I burned a hell lot of cash just for the materials. Though I admit, I bought a lot of lace that isn't quite as needed. Aside from my stash from Divisoria, I had to drop by the local hardware and lace shop. My budget is totally screwed up already. But hey, there's no point in turning back now.
There's a lot to it now, as these shots were taken this weekend. Am hoping I could do a video/photo compilation of the 'process' until showtime on August 19. My sister thinks I still have plenty of time. (As she considers most of my costume, I usually make do with a week or so of cramming and late nights) Am a bit uneasy, am looking at this and the details don't seem to stop. Though am honestly excited to see what I can cook up, given a higher set of resources than what am usually used to.
In any case, wish me luck? >,<
Aren't I just the walking poster girl for Atlus?
Suffice to say am a huge fan of the Persona franchise.
Anyway! Simply click on here to pre-order your copy now. XD
Am seriously considering doing that. (Even though I don't quite own a vita just YET)
Rei Ayanami of the highly insane and twisted series of Evangelion has been a favorite of mine since the series was first aired at a local channel here in the Philippines.
It was during my elementary days so I honestly couldn't comprehend the parts wherein Kaworu Nagisa was making moves on Ikari Shinji.
But she's always been a dream cosplay of mine. Though sadly, the white version of her outfit really has a bit of an 'erotic' vibe going on.
What I will never cosplay:
What I will Cosplay:
Evangelion 2.22 doesn't really have any changes with her plugsuit. Though she does have that other form of utter bloody mess, which could be interesting to pull off (If anyone wishes, don't look at me). So we have the clone of a clone. A 'new' Vessel of Adam
What to do:
Then locate this:
Thank you! >_<
Am not expecting to win, or at least am trying not to expect anything.
That's the bad thing about me. No matter how hopeless, I still aim for the top
Even if it's impossible.
If you could help me prove to myself that am not so unheard of..
and that maybe am worth a few seconds to some people
Might you help me by clicking that link?
And...even if you just happened to drop by,
I appreciate it.
I've managed to stumble upon a "Kuroshitsuji" themed contest that will end this JULY 31, 2012.

Ciel Phantomhive's Vanity
I actually ended up sleeping late because of this when I got it.
It was a birthday present to me by my kareshi.
I was more than surprised because he was always less than supporting
when it came to me 'crossdressing', though I understand why.
