Lesson learned: The theme of my 2013 was sheer 'perseverance' a lot of these plans DID NOT pull through smoothly, it was either my health was rather bad, or that either the wig or my finances did not arrive according to schedule. BUT! With back up plans, sheer will power and some help from willing photographers it works out! From right to left:
Emilia Yusa Hatsune Miku - Love is War Hatsune Miku - Cantarella Rei Ayanami - 3.0 You cannot redo Asuna Yuuki - Light novel/ Pre-SAO Hatsune - Miku - World is Mine Kuroneko - Summer Dress Eucliwood Hellscythe - Maid Version Hatsune - Miku - Deep Sea It has been an amazing year, only 2 of my list has not been completed (just yet) I'll be completing Jean D' Arc and Kuriyama Mirai this 2014. Probably early that year. There will also be plans of going to Singapore and Japan.

In summary:
Not the best morning really, a cockroach by the lock of the door and felt sick yesterday. But! It was in all, a very nice set of days. I loved it. It's a good end to a very eventful year. I WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! I appreciate you reading this and staying with me despite the randomness of it all. Do drop me a line or whichever you see fit. :) I'll always make it a point to reply. Am easy to reach in facebook or even on deviantart! Content that I'll be working on:
So seriously thanks! And have a blast this new year's eve!
New to the hobby? We don’t require you to know all of the anime series we’ve watched or name ten animation studios and story illustrators. Hobbies are loved in varying degrees as I have said so several times in the past. But, here’s the deal: Always remember that you represent EVERYONE ELSE in the hobby when you make a fool of yourself in public or in photos. Or act rude when in fact you've just poked someone’s eyes out with your massive props. It’s like a uniform, when you wear your costume it’d be what people would label with whatever small knowledge they have of cosplay.
Been thinking to update/renovate the form of content I've been posting here. I don't like wasting people's time so I'll transform my cosplay and life escapades to things with what I learn from them. Things I get from the random adventures I have in cosplay and in life in general. What do you mean? Like a life lesson or practical tutorials like what I've done so far, bits of light tutorial, costume making, photography and posing to be specific. Lesson 01: PATIENCE GRASSHOPPERNot a lot of edits on this, more of a practice for team "RedCurry" on simply using our wits and a beautiful venue. It took a while to plan and have the right amount of funds. But look! It's worth it, I'll tell you right off I regret nothing. The venue was the right choice and everything just fell according to place. At times, it's really better to wait then to rush and force things (Which I usually do)
This day was very testing really, from crazy traffic jams from my place and crazy full parking places so early in the morning all we were able to do was wait. And it did bear fruit. Though honestly, I did not get the shot I wanted. Patience: To the people outside this hobby: Why waste so much time/money on such silly things? Well, as you might invest on an iphone or partying these are what takes up our time. It's not that our lives are boring, quite the opposite most of us are creative individuals who require an outlet. If you have family who enjoy this kind of past time, have a little bit of patience with them. We aren't inconsiderate if you have a point we would listen. As long as you do the same for us. A 'waste' of time is only defined but what kind of return you expect. :) We expect nothing but beautiful photos and memories to look back on. |
