Aside from the good ambience, I noticed that their waiters and watiresses had these shirts on. And yep! They're for sale. (210 ea from XXS and XXL)
While I don't really have a format for reviewing the restaurants and shops I've been to. I usually make sure at least, to highlight what was good/bad about the place. So! For this one, here goes:
Food, Ambiance, Price
The food was really good. (That's really an understatement right there) But anyway, the food servings are huge! And the taste and the seeming authenticity was nice.
On the walls, you can see manga (comic) drawings of how I suppose Yabu House of Katsu started. It's pretty cool, and I like the manga style.
As for the staff
Seriously, it was comfortably friendly and seriously fast without being too stalker like. They hardly bothered us during our meal. But they made sure we were tended to. Bottomless iced tea and all.
The do-it-yourself Sauce:
1. They will be giving you a bowl of sesame seeds and introduce you to manual labor. Jokes aside, after which they'll introduce you to the other sauces on the table. (Sesame oil,soy sauce, salt, pepper, and chili sauce)
2. You grind the sesame seeds, and add the (what we think was) Tonkatsu sauce. It has that, sour taste and viscosity that Tonkatsu sauces had, so yeah. XD We just dubbed it as such.
