That's me at work, and me during my 'hobby' SAY it with ME! Cosplay is a HOBBY. There are no professional cosplayers, you are not paid to do this and there is no ritual for you to take on. If you want to try it, go ahead. No one can stop you. What makes it so different is that It's just a very...intricate and wonderfully painful hobby. It's the only hobby wherein fantasy crosses into the realm of reality. Clarifications aside, At times, I honestly just want to rethink all the things that matter to me. Dividing my limited financial resources into:
Isn't an easy feat, I tell 'ya *le sigh* I do web coding, layouts, and photography at my day job. I also take on sidelines for websites and make ads and the likes for a fee. Am sure, most of us who cosplay don't just Cosplay. Think Jin Joson for instance, she has a freelance job, tuxessories and still has time for shoots and possibly hanging out with her friends. We will have times that we need to go to school, do projects, meet with friends...etc, etc. Most of us who cosplay are individuals with seriously mixed up hobbies. We like music, we watch movies, read books, we craft, study photography and whatnot (Of course all of that is based on myself XD But am sure you'd find one or two similarities if not all of it) It's really a tough love-hate relationship at times though (much like with a lot of other hobbies)
