Although my life ain't perfect, I seriously hold on to the faith of being good will lead to good things. I believe in bits of good luck and ultimately just the fact that inside each of us, there are honest individuals who would choose what's best for everyone if need be. (though of course I am not ignorant enough to deny evil as well) But that aside, some good things happened to me. And although I've already given 'some things' back by donating books, and a bit of my time I also wanted to give a little to the community I love.
So if you're a resident of the Philippines, and you know the anime the past seasons? Get your game on, and guess the series, and full character name of the characters I have and will cosplay.
Goodluck ! And I wish you an awesome life! Because everybody deserves that.
Cute Emi Yusa in her "angel" or "hero" form
Emi Yusa, or quite literally the "Hero" in the anime "Hataraku Maō-sama" or translated in english "The Devil is a Part-Timer"
Series Summary: I think it's best shortened into, dimensional travel wherein people from a medieval period with a mix of magic and demons get transported into "Our world" or the year 2012 and have to live as 'normal human beings'.
When I say normal, the very base definition as in working, finding rent making documents and daily budgeting is taken into consideration in this anime. Which is fairly interesting. The series already ended though, and I've never read the manga.
My cosplay progress:
You might not even know her (give the manga or the series a try! It's worth it) , but she's a really interesting character with a certain 'depth' to her. Though when I say 'depth' I don't mean the complexity of a human being of course, that's hard to achieve but she has grudges, and inadequacies that are just adorable. She's pretty clumsy to boot!
For a commoner like myself, life goes on and chores need to be done even if I am sick. No one else would do it otherwise. It doesn't help that I'm OC really, it's frustrating to have to put everything back or clean up even when I'm feeling this miserable.
Better health to you! Whoever you are.
In the five minutes Mikasa closed her tired eyes, a million people had died that day. And for all the jokes I make of the series and of her, I love this feisty and yet fragile fighter. She's awesome! Click the link at the end for a taste of the manga. It's currently at Chapter 47 in the manga, and 16 episodes in the series
It just seemed like a fitting post for the last weekend of the month! And hurray for new OP songs for our beloved Shingeki no Kyojin series. (Read the manga here)
As I've said before? I don't really expect to be featured. There are thousands upon thousands who are way better than me in this hobby. So It's always a surprise to see things like these for being overly passionate about this hobby.
The photos that you see kicking ass, those that have venues, sometimes with post processed effects and stunning overall visuals? They were planned. Some of them did, 'just happen' but most of those? They were made through consolidated efforts.
We shall talk about what it takes to take part or lead a PHOTOSHOOT.
1. The Costume
2. The Venue
I am aware that this blog has not been updated in weeks. The shoot was hectic and work kind of became crazy after I came back. So I really had no option but to lessen my creative writing and at the least post on my facebook. It's amazing how little time you need for facebook. Yet how much time you could lose just by browsing the internet. Some more 进击的巨人-Mikasa-ackerman.
Interested in my cosplay?
I'm also at Worldcosplay.net, kuricurry.deviantart.com and otakumode.com!

I've been eyeing Mikasa Ackerman since April when the series started, she kicked ass and seemed a little cold, and as I read the manga I started liking her even more.
I saw her flaws, her struggles and what made her unique in a universe that was easy to be redundant in. (I'm referring to anime in general)
Although the series as a whole had an interesting concept wherein the universe and the world as a whole wasn't intergalactic but that of Titans and humans.
It gets twisted as we go further along, even though the concept of giants eating human beings has been told sometime in fairy tales, it really does well in the realm of anime.
Shingeki no Kyojin in general has become a fad and the lead heroine has captured audiences together with the cast. So why wouldn't anyone want to cosplay her.
